Piece-a-Pisa

Sadly, I have been sick the last couple days. On Monday is when it started and I thought I just had the cold.   Then on Tuesday it got much worse, but it was not until Wednesday that I had to go to the doctor and get antibiotics.
Today I was feeling much better, so a group of people I have met in Florence decided to go to Pisa. We traveled by train, which I was kind of concerned at first, but it turned into a successful adventure.  We got our tickets a lot more easily than I thought, and rushed to the train.  Even better... the tickets were only 5.80 euro which means round trip it was below 12 euro. Couldn't beat it.
Even more importantly, it was a gorgeous day with clear blue skies.  So, when we were walking around Pisa, it was the perfect temperature and we didn't have to be bundled up nor removing all our outerwear.

We caught sight of the Leaning Tower, and it was unreal.  I know I have used this word to describe a lot of landmarks, but it is really out-of-this-world when you see them in person.  The tower leaned more than I expected and I thought at any moment it was going to fall....
Street of Pisa
Thought of my mom when I saw these flowers
I see THE LEANING TOWER!

Had to do the clique photo

I have very creative friends
