Back to Cinque Terre...

Back from the beach, sun kissed and happy!
This weekend my study abroad group went to Cinque Terre.  We stayed in the beach town of Cinque Terre, which was Monteresso.  It was beautiful, but I already knew that since I was just there!  I did not mind going back because I was really excited to lay on the beach, which I did all weekend.  I hung out with all my best girls and soaked up the sun on both Saturday and Sunday.
Me, Sarah, and Catherine
Other than sitting on the beach on Saturday, we all went to a really good seafood place.  I got seafood spaghetti and a pina colada.  It was delicious and it made it even better that we were right next to the sea and had a beautiful view all dinner.
Our tasty drinks: Pina Coladas for me and Kat, Daiquiri for Lauren,
and a Mojito for Sarah. Yum.
The rest of the night consisted of strolling down a secluded trail that led into the mountains of Monteresso, climbing a huge boulder near the ocean, and bonding with my girls!
The trail we (Kat, Lauren, Catherine, Johanna, Haven,
Kat (yes, there are three Kats), Sarah, and I) found

The next day, Sunday, Kat, Lauren, Sarah, and I took a train to the furthest town, Riomaggiore.  We wandered around this town the most than the other town we went to. When I went to it first time, my family and I did not spend much time here, so I was glad to see more of the town.  We went down to the marina and climbed on more rocks that looked out on the ocean.  Then, we went to the second town, Manarola, and relaxed along the ocean and got lunch.  After all this, we just wanted to go back to Monteresso to be more lazy and lay on the beach.  It seemed like a perfect idea to just bypass the next two towns.  And it was.  Basically, we were huge beach bums this weekend.

Next weekend, my roommates and I are going to Dublin.  We leave Friday and get back on early Monday morning.  We are staying in a really nice hostel in Dublin, which will be perfect.  Also, we are going to the Cliffs of Moher on a bus tour and going to stop by the Guinness factory for a tour. I can't wait! So check in next week. Ciao for now!
